Prince Philip could reportedly be one of the reasons why Prince Harry and Meghan Markle would suddenly return to the United Kingdom.

Since the Duke of Edinburgh is already 99 years old, there are fears that he doesn’t have long to live. According to Express, there are ongoing health fears surrounding Queen Elizabeth’s husband.

And if something bad happens to him, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex will most likely fly back to the United Kingdom.

A source recently said that Prince Harry and Markle are eager to spend the holidays with the queen and Prince Philip. But nothing has been finalized yet.

“Time will tell if that will need to happen and if it could potentially impact what they do and when. But they are all eager to get back to spend time with Harry’s family and for Archie to see his great-grandmother Queen Elizabeth II and great-grandfather Prince Philip in particular,” the source said.

Meanwhile, there has been a slew of rumors surrounding Prince Philip’s health. Last month, Life & Style claimed that the dad of four is getting daily check-ups amid fears that he doesn’t have long to live.

“He’s getting daily check-ups and is under strict doctor’s orders to avoid stressful situations. In this family, however, it’s hard to escape the chaos,” a source said.

In July, Globe claimed that the queen is worried about her husband’s health.

“Philip is near the end. He can’t weigh more than 93 pounds. His face is gaunt, his eyes sunken, and he attempts to hide his skeletal body under layers of clothing. The cancer is the real reason he stepped away from public life last fall and moved into a cottage on the queen’s Sandringham estate. He didn’t want the world – or his wife – to see him wasting away,” a source said.

But the insider also said that Prince Philip is a proud man so he’s confident that he could cheat his death. However, his wife and children are still allegedly worried about him.

To make things worse, the Duke of Edinburgh allegedly shared his pancreatic cancer diagnosis with the royal family during a party.

However, one should take the tabloids’ claims with a grain of salt. Prince Philip isn’t dying. And if he is, the news will come straight from Buckingham Palace and not from tabloids.
