Prince Philip, allegedly, held a crisis meeting with Prince Andrew and Queen Elizabeth at Balmoral.

According to New Idea, this is the reason why the Duke of York was photographed heading to his parents’ home. Initially, there were claims that he’s there to hang out with the royal family, which is a common practice during the summer.

However, the tabloid claimed that Prince Andrew didn’t necessarily have a wonderful time while he was there. After all, he found out that he has been snubbed from Prince Philip’s 100th birthday celebration next year.

“The decision to cut down Prince Andrew’s role in the planned celebrations is one of the toughest decisions Prince Philip will have had to make in his life. But his knows that Andrew’s name is poison currently and that the survival of the monarchy requires that Buckingham Palace backs away from his son,” royal author Nigel Cawthorne said.

“It is a poignant moment, and the loss of Prince Andrew’s HRH title is highly likely merely a matter of time,” he added.

Last year, Prince Andrew was accused of sexually abusing underage girls. He immediately denied the allegations but there are photos of him with Virginia Roberts Giuffre, his alleged victim.

Amid the controversy, Prince Andrew tried to clear his name by holding an interview with the BBC. However, his conversation with Emily Maitlis has been dubbed as a train wreck.

Shortly after, Prince Andrew decided to step aside from his royal duties for the foreseeable future. Until today, he has not returned to his royal duties and engagements.

Meanwhile, American lawyer Gloria Allred appeared in ITV’s Loose Women this week to talk about Prince Andrew. She said that she hopes the Duke of York would cooperate with the FBI’s investigations.

Allred also said that if Prince Andrew refuses to cooperate, Queen Elizabeth should step in and encourage her son to do so.

“After all, honor and duty aren’t they supposed to be the hallmarks or supposed to be the hallmarks of royalty and the Queen. He has embarrassed the Queen, he has shamed her, the royalty, and as he calls it, the firm. He has brought scandal upon them and we all know that. The Queen is not to fault here, she may have already encouraged him to do what I am going to call the right thing, but he hasn’t done it. Since he has delayed so long, one has to wonder, why?” she said.
