Prince Philip will be celebrating his 100th birthday next year, and the royal family is already planning his massive celebration.

But according to Woman’s Day, the Duke of Edinburgh has instructed his staff to not invite Prince Andrew to the bash.

“Meghan isn’t the only one who’s found herself pushed aside from royal birthday celebrations – disgraced Prince Andrew has been on the receiving end of the same ire. Organizers charged with planning Prince Philip’s 100th birthday events in June next year have been instructed to leave his second son off any public guest lists and remove him from any photographic tributes and displays,” the source said.

The insider also said that Prince Andrew is devastated over the snub.

“He knows being ditched from his own father’s century doesn’t look good for his attempts to insist he’s innocent,” the source said.

Following the allegations that Prince Andrew sexually abused underage girls in the 90s, reports claimed that Prince Philip started distancing himself from his son.

Sources also claimed that the Duke of Edinburgh encouraged Queen Elizabeth to cut ties with Prince Andrew. But since he is her favorite child, she, allegedly, refused to do so.

Last year, a royal insider told The Telegraph that Prince Philip and Prince Andrew had a tense meeting after news broke about the latter’s links to Jeffrey Epstein.

“It was a tense meeting and Philip told his son he had to take his punishment. There was no screaming or shouting but Philip told him in no uncertain terms that he had to step down for the sake of the monarchy. Philip doesn’t like trial by the media but he is realistic enough to realize that Andrew’s actions were a danger to the very fabric of the royal family,” the source said.

Prince Andrew spoke with BBC’s Emily Maitlis in an attempt to clear his name. However, the things he said didn’t work in his favor. Sources revealed that the Duke of York didn’t also inform the queen about the interview beforehand.

Shortly after, Sarah Ferguson’s ex-husband announced that he would be stepping back from his royal duties for the foreseeable future. Prince Andrew said that he doesn’t want to further disrupt the royal family with the ongoing scandal.

As of late, Prince Andrew still hasn’t been convicted amid the sexual abuse allegations. And he also continues to stay out of the limelight amid the controversy.
