Prince Philip’s real thoughts and feelings about Meghan Markle have finally been revealed.

While speaking with Sky News, royal expert Ingrid Seward said that the Duke of Edinburgh is disappointed and irritated with Markle.

The 99-year-old is reportedly disappointed with Markle for not supporting Prince Harry and his duties to the monarchy. He also couldn’t understand why Markle refused to give up her career when this is what he did when he married Queen Elizabeth.

“I think he's very, very disappointed because I think he feels he gave up his naval career in order to stand by the Queen and help the monarchy. And why can't Meghan just give up her acting career, support her husband and support the monarchy?” she said.

Seward also revisited Prince Philip’s words to Princess Diana when she was still alive. The retired royal used to remind his daughter-in-law that being a royal isn’t a popularity contest. Rather, it’s every single member working together.

“He just cannot understand why she couldn't support Harry and help him rather than wanting to have her voice,” Seward said.

Earlier this year, the queen held a summit at Sandringham after Prince Harry and Markle announced that they are quitting The Firm. Seward said that right before the meeting took place, Prince Philip was photographed leaving the premises.

This reportedly shows how disappointed and upset he is with Markle. But as of late, Prince Philip hasn’t addressed Megxit publicly.

Meanwhile, Seward’s claims came in the heels of a report saying that Prince Harry and Markle will return to the United Kingdom for the holidays so that they could be with the queen and Prince Philip.

“Time will tell if that will need to happen and if it could potentially impact what they do and when. But they are all eager to get back to spend time with Harry’s family and for Archie to see his great-grandmother Queen Elizabeth II and great-grandfather Prince Philip in particular,” a source told Vanity Fair.

However, it is unclear if Prince Harry and Markle’s Christmas plans in the UK will still push through following Seward’s shocking revelation about Prince Philip. Last year, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex didn’t celebrate Christmas with the royal family.
