Angelina Jolie filed for a divorce petition against Brad Pitt in 2016. However, reports have it that the court is taking more time amid the outbreak of COVID-19 pandemic.

A source claimed that the finalization of the divorce proceeding of the Salt actress and the Troy actor is taking longer time because of the current global health crisis. The same insider pointed out that while the former couple is still visiting the court regularly; there has not been much progress.

The exes share six children together and the Fight Club star has been recently spotted twice outside the Maleficent actress’s Los Feliz mansion. It is possibly a signal that they are getting along better now.

A dubious insider told an outlet that Pitt is in constant touch with the children. However, anything linked to resolving legal issues between Pitt and Angie is allegedly slowed down because of the coronavirus.

The pandemic has made life tough for many people including this former celeb couple. Meanwhile, an insider told the People magazine that the couple is enjoying a more cordial relationship as far as their children are concerned. Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie are allegedly co-parenting their kids in an amicable manner now.

If sources are to be believed, it has taken these exes several years, as well as, plenty of family therapies to reach this comfort level. With things looking much brighter now, the Hollywood A-lister seems to be happy and relaxed as he is meeting his children more frequently.

The former couple reportedly started dating in 2005. However, they tied the knot many years later. Jolie, though, filed for a divorce just two years after their marriage in September 2016.

The legal battle between The Once Upon a Time in Hollywood star and The Eternals actress has allegedly been a long and bitter one. Reports have it that the actress is asking for more money than her former husband is willing to give.

Another contentious issue between them is their living arrangements. It has been reported that Pitt is against Jolie’s wish to move out of America with their kids.

Jolie had admitted in an interview that she would love to leave the country and plans to fulfill her wish when her kids are 18. The actress accepted that she cannot leave the country now because of her former husband.

Finally, it appears that Brad Pitt, as well as, Angelina Jolie are maintaining a low profile as of now. The exes stepped out separately in LA this Saturday, Daily Mail reports.
