According to a royal expert, Kate Middleton and Meghan Markle had little in common and never developed a close relationship, despite public appearances suggesting otherwise. Nick Bullen, co-founder of True Royalty TV, spoke with Fox News Digital about the duchesses' relationship and how it was impacted by their different backgrounds.

Bullen stated, "There wasn't really any relationship between the two of them. It was the brothers – Prince William and Prince Harry – who were falling out, not the sisters-in-law, not the wives." He emphasized that despite the two duchesses presenting a united front publicly, they didn't forge a strong bond behind closed doors.

Bullen recounted a conversation he had with someone who attended a dinner with Kate Middleton early in Meghan Markle's marriage to Prince Harry. Middleton allegedly said, "She's just really different [from] the rest of us." Bullen noted that the two women simply didn't have much in common.

Highlighting the differences between the duchesses, Bullen described Middleton as a "well-to-do English girl" who married her prince, while Markle was a divorced career woman from Los Angeles. He lamented the fact that the world had hoped for a closer relationship between the two, but such a bond never materialized.

Tessa Dunlop, a historian, writer, and broadcaster, also weighed in on the relationship between Middleton and Markle, describing it as "frosty, but polite." Dunlop observed that the two women were "inverted versions of each other," with Middleton representing deference and self-possession within the royal system and Markle advocating for change by embracing the institution.

Dunlop went on to say that Middleton was a "well-mannered girl" who would not reveal others' secrets, while Markle grew up in the competitive Hollywood environment. She explained that Hollywood is all about ambition and outperforming others, which would have been an alien concept to Meghan within the context of royal life.

It should be noted that Entertainment Times could not independently verify these claims.
