In a surprise public outing, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle were seen enjoying the Lakers-Grizzlies playoff game on Monday night at the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles. Photos and videos shared on Twitter captured the Duke and Duchess of Sussex laughing and smiling as they appeared on the Jumbotron.

One video clip showed the couple sharing a light-hearted moment, with Harry attempting to lean in for a kiss before Meghan playfully stopped him, placing a hand on his upper arm. Harry then jokingly grimaced at the camera.

Since moving to California in March 2020, the couple has maintained a relatively private lifestyle. They watched the game from one of the stadium's suites as the Lakers competed against the Memphis Grizzlies in the first-round playoff series' game 4.

Their appearance at the basketball game came just a day after Meghan made a surprise video appearance, introducing her photographer friend Misan Harriman's TED Talk.

Next week, Prince Harry is set to attend his father's coronation ceremony alone, while Meghan will remain in California with their children. The couple plans to celebrate their son Archie's fourth birthday on the same day as the coronation.

As the royal family's estrangement continues, a royal insider revealed that the Duke of Sussex will sit 10 rows behind other royals at the coronation of King Charles on May 6 and make a quick exit afterward.

The Lakers game also attracted other celebrities who were seen sitting courtside, including Kris Jenner, Kim Kardashian, Adam Sandler, Dyan Cannon, Timothy Olyphant, and Si.
