Olivia Wilde and Harry Styles are reportedly parting ways as “close friends” after amicably deciding to end their nearly two-year romance.

People learned from multiple sources that the 38-year-old actress and the 28-year-old singer are “taking a break” from their relationship, which first made news earlier in January 2021.

This allegedly comes as “he’s still touring and is now going abroad,” while “she is focusing on her kids and her work” in Los Angeles,” with an insider adding that the decision to split is “very amicable.”

A source also told the magazine that the “Don’t Worry Darling” director and “As It Was” singer remain “very close friends” despite the breakup.

Meanwhile, a pal of Harry Styles and Olivia Wilde reportedly shared with the magazine, which published the claims on Friday, that the two personalities “have different priorities that are keeping them apart.”

Speaking about the “House MD” actress and the “Dunkirk” actor’s romance, the same source told the publication that “the public pressure on them has been difficult.” It is also stated that “they’ve had ups and downs throughout the relationship.”

Olivia Wilde and Harry Styles first sparked romance rumors after photos of them holding hands at a wedding surfaced in January 2021.

Us Weekly recalls in a report that a source spoke to them at the time, claiming that the two celebrities began their connection when they started working together a few months prior.

The “Lazarus Effect” actress and the “Watermelon Sugar” singer remained tight-lipped about their relationship in the following months. Although, they had reportedly been seen together on multiple occasions.

In the same piece, the publication also looks back on Wilde’s statements to Variety, published in August 2022, about her relationship with Styles.

The actress noted that she would not say anything about the matter because she had “never seen a relationship benefit from being dragged into the public arena." She is also said to have added that she and her then-partner both had gone out of their way to protect their ties.

Elsewhere, Page Six learned similar claims about the reported breakup, with a source stating that “there is no bad blood” between Olivia Wilde and Harry Styles, adding that he “didn’t dump” her, “or vice versa.”

The source continued to the publication, which published the claims on Friday, that the relationship with the “In Time” actress is the “longest” the One Direction member has ever had, before saying, “so clearly they have a special bond.”

Amid all the reports, however, the outlet noted that reps for Styles and Wilde did not immediately respond to its requests for comment.
