Ryan Reynolds and Blake Lively will soon become parents of four. Ahead of the arrival of their new baby, he is opening up about their growing family.

Entertainment Tonight said the 46-year-old actor shared his thoughts on the matter during an exchange with them at the 36th Annual American Cinematheque Award Ceremony in Beverly Hills on Thursday. It noted that the actor walked the red carpet solo, but his 35-year-old wife was also in attendance, adding that she spoke at the event.

During the engagement, Reynolds told the outlet that he and Lively are “very excited” with their fourth child. He even quipped, “You’d have to be a moron to do this four times if you didn’t like it.”

The “Deadpool” star later stated that “it’s gonna be nuts!” as he discussed the thought of having four children. He subsequently reiterated, though, that he and the “Gossip Girl” actress are “very excited.”

The public first learned about Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds’ fourth pregnancy when she debuted her baby bump earlier in September.

At the time, People said the “Rhythm Section” actress displayed her bump at the tenth Annual Forbes Power Women’s Summit, where she posed in a sequined mini dress for photos.

Despite the debut, the magazine shared that a rep for the two celebrities could not be reached for comment.

Meanwhile, ET noted elsewhere in its report, published Thursday, that Ryan Reynolds ensured to keep his children close to his heart when he attended the event. As it happened, he is said to have accessorized his ensemble with a homemade bracelet that read, “DAD.”

In the same exchange with the publication, the “Red Notice” actor shared an insight into how his three daughters feel about their growing family and welcoming a new sibling. He revealed that they are all “in,” adding that “they love it,” as per the outlet.

Ryan Reynolds and Blake Lively, who tied the knot in 2012, welcomed their first child earlier in 2015. They had their second more than a year later, while their third in 2019.

The two celebrities began their ties as friends after starring as the leads of the 2011 film, “Green Lantern.” It was not until October of the same year that they sparked romance speculations, according to Us Weekly.

Nearly a year later, the “A Simple Favor” actress and the “Adam Project” star reportedly surprised their fans and followers after tying the knot in South Carolina.
