Taylor Swift is at an age where she is ready to tie the knot. But she won’t settle down with Joe Alwyn unless he signs a prenup.

In its Nov. 14 issue, National Enquirer claimed that Swift just wants to make sure that she and Alwyn wouldn’t have any issues if their marriage doesn’t work out.

“She’s at the age now where the idea of settling down, getting married, and having children is becoming more important to her. But she’s adamant that Joe sign a prenup and he’s adamantly against it. He says it’s like betting on failure,” the source said.

The source claimed that one of Swift’s goals is to become a billionaire and she’s already on her way to making this a reality. Alwyn’s net worth, on the other hand, is so much smaller than Swift’s that’s why she wants to protect herself from him money-wise.

“Taylor is happy to lavish Joe with all the houses, trips, and $1,000 dinners in the world, but Joe says he would feel like a kept man if Taylor doesn’t go all in and make him both her life partner and her financial partner. He’s drawn a line in the sand, and it may kill their long relationship as a result,” the source said.

To date, Swift’s relationship with Alwyn is her longest one. She has been in a relationship with other men before but they did not last this long. So, everyone in her corner is rooting for her and Alwyn to end up together.

But the decision will allegedly depend on whether the couple will be able to agree on signing a prenup or not.

However, one should take the tabloid’s claims with a grain of salt. While it is true that Swift is so much richer than her boyfriend, Alwyn also has a good and stable job which makes him set for life.

There’s no indication that the couple has been fighting over money. If they are, it’s unlikely for their relationship to last this long.

All these rumors are baseless and they are just made up by the tabloid to make it seem as though Swift and Alwyn have issues even when they don’t.

The couple couldn’t be happier and there’s no pressure on them to tie the knot anytime soon.
