Taylor Swift and Joe Alwyn’s relationship is allegedly on the rocks.

A source told Life & Style that Alwyn is seriously contemplating ending his relationship with Swift because she refuses to settle with him. What’s worse is that the couple has been dating for six years and everyone is urging them to tie the knot.

“Friends are buzzing that her and Joe’s relationship is all but over. There are even whispers he may be getting ready to dump her because he’s not ready to settle down for good. Instead of celebrating their anniversary this fall, Taylor could find herself heartbroken from yet another failed romance,” the source said.

The source also said that Swift is now 32 years old so the hope is for her to already be married by now. If not, her family and friends wish that she’s at least thinking about settling down.

However, the tabloid contradicted their initial claims by saying that Swift is the one who’s ready to settle down. In fact, she has been dropping subtle clues to encourage Alwyn to propose to her but to no avail.

“She put pressure on Joe. Some may say she’s made subtle threats, but who can blame her? If he won’t marry her, there’s no reason to stay together,” the source said.

For the most part of their relationship, the source said that Swift doesn’t pressure Alwyn into proposing to her. But when alcohol is involved, she couldn’t stop herself from urging her longtime boyfriend to propose to her.

“When they drink too much, the topic always comes up. A little too much alcohol is like truth serum to Taylor. Arguments about setting a wedding date have gotten heated. It’s not his style. He doesn’t like it to escalate, so he’d rather walk away from Taylor than continue to argue. They always need space apart to calm down,” the source said.

However, one should take the tabloid’s claims with a grain of salt. It’s unlikely for a tabloid to know all these details about Swift and Alwyn’s relationship when the couple has been very private with their relationship.

It’s not also true that the couple has been pressuring each other to tie the knot. Swift and Alwyn must have their own timeline before they decide to finally settle down.
