Prince Harry’s memoir may never get the green light after all.

In its June 13 issue, Us Weekly claimed that they has been so much hype surrounding Prince Harry’s book when he first announced it last year.

But even if the official release date isn’t scheduled until the end of the year, there are whispers that it could get pushed back again. What’s worse is that it’s possible for Prince Harry’s memoir to never be released at all.

A source claimed that publishers wanted the Duke of Sussex to expose the dirt on the royal family in his book that’s why they agreed to pay him $20 million. But they soon learned that Prince Harry wants to protect his relatives, especially Queen Elizabeth.

“Publishers aren’t paying Harry $20 million to rehash old material or write a book that’s based solely on wellness. They want to shake it up with new gossip,” the source said.

The source added that the publishers expect Prince Harry’s memoir to include accounts from his childhood up until the queen’s Platinum Jubilee.

“This book needs to represent Harry’s life in full. So, it makes sense to include his return back home and his participation in the queen’s jubilee since it will questionably be a key component in his personal journey. Harry’s publishers want to touch on the aftermath of leaving royal life and that part of the story isn’t finished yet,” the source said.

As such, Prince Harry and his publishers allegedly agreed that his memoir should be released early next year. The timing is ideal because there are no important events in the royal family next year.

Meanwhile, the tabloid also claimed that Markle isn’t interfering with Prince Harry’s decision to delay his memoir. After all, she also thinks that this is what’s best.

However, one should take the tabloid’s claims with a grain of salt. As of late, there’s no proof that the release date of Prince Harry’s memoir has been delayed.

In fact, the tabloid is the only one spreading the rumors because they are the ones that think that the memoir should be postponed until next year. However, this decision will only be made by Prince Harry and his publishers and no one else.
