Prince Harry allegedly broke his promise to Queen Elizabeth.

In its Feb. 28 issue, In Touch Weekly claimed that Prince Harry and Queen Elizabeth had been butting heads over his memoir.

The Duke of Sussex assured the queen that he wouldn’t bad mouth her in his memoir, but this isn’t enough for Her Majesty.

So, Prince Harry promised to give the queen a copy of the final draft because his memoir gets published.

But when the monarch asked for it, Meghan Markle’s husband allegedly refused to stay true to his word.

“Harry and his grandmother are crossing swords over the book. He promised to show her the final draft in order to get her stamp of approval before it’s published, but when she called and asked him to send her a copy, he refused,” the source said.

The insider claimed that Prince Harry managed to think of an excuse as to why he couldn’t give the queen a copy of the final draft. But the monarch isn’t buying it.

“Harry tried to shift the blame by saying he’d be breaking the ironclad contract he signed since there’s a stipulation that says he can’t share the draft with anyone but them. But does she believe him? Absolutely not. She’s fuming,” the source said.

According to the source, the palace is in panic mode over Prince Harry’s memoir because they’re worried about what he would reveal.

They are also convinced that Prince Harry would engage in character assassination of every single member of the royal family especially those who haven’t been nice to his wife.

Prince Harry is also expected to weigh in on Prince Andrew’s sexual abuse lawsuit.

Even if he already settled with his accuser, Virginia Roberts Giuffre, Prince Harry won’t shy away from letting his thoughts be heard.

There are also claims suggesting that Prince Harry would also talk about Prince Charles and Camilla’s affair in his memoir and how it affected Princess Diana.

So, the announcement that Camilla will be styled as queen consort must have been very difficult for Prince Harry.

“If he betrays the monarchy in his book, the queen might disown him for good,” the source said.

However, one should take the tabloid’s claims with a grain of salt.

The queen is not asking for a copy of Prince Harry’s memoir before it’s published.

And Prince Harry won’t also be talking about the royal family scandals in his memoir.
