The arrival of a demon has sent shockwaves amongst the monks and Shinto priests in Yashahime: Princess Half-Demon Episode 13. The next episode is titled The Delicious Feudal Monks.

The official Yashahime: Princess Half-Demon Episode 13 preview trailer has been released, teasing what happens next.

A demon is attacking several Shinto priests and monks in the village. Towa, Setsuna, and Moroha are asked to deal with this demon.

“A demon has appeared that attacks various monks and Shinto priests. Hisui, please go to Brother’s side. I see. That person is Monk Miroku. He wants to attain divine power through one thousand-day training, but I doubt it will go that smoothly. Totetsu, one of the Four Perils, appears! Will he eat anything with that big mouth?!” the preview text read.

In the last Yashahime: Princess Half-Demon episode, titled Night of the New Moon and the Black-haired Towa, Setsuna, and Towa get another mission. The new task will take them right in front of a demon named Nikosen, who has dried up a mountain and the nearby villagers are terrified.

They head to the mountain with Cat Demon Kirara, where Nikosen is present.

The scene changes to the mountain as Nikosen says to himself that he has taken plenty of nutrients from the trees and mountains. However, he is waiting for the Towa and Setsuna.

Meanwhile, Towa and Setsuna note that the plants have dried up in a strange way. The duo also talks to the villagers, who reveal that it is likely due to the demon's poison.

Moroha reveals that she heard Nikosen used to be a sage. However, due to impure thoughts made him stray from his path and become an evil demon.

Moroha warns them that they should keep their guards up as the smell of rotting soil is getting stronger. However, Towa is unable to feel the demon energy. Setsuna notes that Towa’s heartbeat is faster than usual. She finds it weird. Suddenly, Nikosen appears and announces that he has been waiting for the half-demons.

For some reason, Towa is unable to use her powers. Nikosen uses sage venom, and Moroha fears that this will be bad for Towa and Setsuna. Towa faints, and Setsuna carries her to safety. Meanwhile, Moroha engages with the demon.
