The Chosen Ones are separated after the brutal battle between Dark Knightmon and Angemon. Digimon Adventure Episode 29 is likely going to focus on them trying to reunite with each other. However, the threat of ferocious Digimon remains. The new episode is called Escape the Burning Jungle.

The official Digimon Adventure Episode 29 preview trailer has been released after Episode 28 is aired. The trailer shows the crisis in the jungle as Taichi and Agumon struggle against the mighty Digimon.   

“The burning jungle. Taichi and Agumon are in danger. Will they be able to defeat the heavily armored enemies?! Next time on Digimon Adventure: Escape the Burning Jungle,” the official preview text read.

Twitter user Wikimon shared the synopsis for Digimon Adventure Episode 29. According to the synopsis for the new installment, the children try to reunite after being separated during the battle between Dark Knightmon and Angemon. Taichi and Agumon enter the jungle as they are looking for Hikari, who was kidnapped by Skull Knightmon.

Taichi and Agumon bump into a group of Woodmon. Interestingly, Woodmon abhors any kind of violence. However, they will end up in the battleground after Tankdramon, Allison, and Megadramon decide to attack them.

The jungle is on fire after the attack and Taichi and Agumon rise to the occasion to rescue the Woodmon.

The duo fight against Tankdramon and its forces. Meanwhile, Sora and Piyomon arrive to help Taichi and the others.

In the last episode of the series, the children continue to fight for survival as the battle between Angemon and Dark Knightmon begins.

The children are amazed to see the Holy Digimon Angemon as they admire its appearance. Soon the battle begins. The Dark Knightmon tries to abduct Hikari but Angemon intervenes. 

Dark Knightmon warns Angemon to back off as he has no business with it.

After Dark Knightmon strikes the opponent with a Dark Lightning, Angemon fuses his weapon and launches Heaven’s Knuckle attack.

Due to the heavy impact of the attack, everybody feels the shock and are separated from each other. Can they deal with this situation before Dark Knightmon attacks again?

Digimon Adventure Episode 29 is scheduled to hit the airwaves on Saturday, Dec. 19, 2020. The episodes are currently streaming for paid subscribers of Crunchyroll.
