The performer's lineup is revealed for New Year's Eve 2021

Carson Daly, the host of the annual New Year's Eve event, will be joined by other artists and musicians on the stage of NBC for a music showcase the New Year cannot surely handle. As The Voice star will facilitate the event, his hosting cardboard is full of performers' epic roster, as announced by E!

With that said, fans of the duo Chloe x Halle, CNCO, AJR, Goo Goo Dolls, Jason Derulo, Bebe Rexha, Kylie Minogue, Busta Rhymes, Anderson .Paak, Doja Cat, couple Blake Shelton, Gwen Stefani, Sting, and Shirazee can celebrate with their idols on the upcoming NBC event.

Moreover, Amber Ruffin from The Amber Ruffin Show and DJ and co-executive producer for The Ellen Degeneres Show Stephen "tWitch" Boss will join Marc as hosts of the New Year's Eve Live 2021.

"Nothing will make me happier than to have a front row seat to watch 2020 disappear and usher in the hope for brighter days in 2021," Carson said in a statement that tackles the event.

He added that he is excited to welcome Amber and tWitch in New York's Time Square for the legendary and much-awaited ball drop for the New Year. However, the upcoming host is undoubtedly going to miss the massive audience.

How does the New Year's Eve Live 2021 goes during a pandemic?

Inquisitr stated that despite the NBC show hailing three hosts and being live broadcasted to the world, the event would be surrounded by spectators online. Due to the restrictions, audiences are not allowed to attend the event, and also, there will be zero probability of allowing the public access to the show.

Before the main event, NBC will broadcast a select show titled New Year's Eve: Escape From 2020 that will be headlined by Jenna Bush Hager and Hoda Kotb.

Furthermore, the said pre-show will recall and revisit the significant happenings in 2020, from 8 to 10 PM EST. On the other hand, the New Year's Eve 2021 will kick off right after the pre-show, which will last for an hour to pave the way for the local news.

According to UPI, the show will return after half an hour for the night's most iconic event, the New Year's countdown and the ball drop.
