Hailing from the early dates of pop's fame, Britney Spears and the Backstreet Boys join hands for a collaboration track! That said, Hollywood Life shared that the 39-year-old singer teamed up with the classic boy group Backstreet Boys for the song that goes by the title Matches.

The melodious voices of Howie Dorough, Nick Carter, AJ McLean, Brian Littrell, and Kevin Richardson best match the Princess of Pop Britney's vocals. The collaboration between the two music geniuses is for the song that was dropped on Dec. 11 (Friday), off from Britney's Glory album deluxe edition.

Vulture divulged that while many are gushing over Taylor Swift's surprise album, Britney and the band are in their full gear to bring back some '90s memories and jam.

On Twitter, Britney expressed her delight by letting the world know about her collaboration with the famous boy band. He tagged the official handle of the band by saying her new song features her "friends."

The Disney alum also unveiled the newest edition of her 2016 album mentioned above on top of Matches.

"I'm so excited to hear what you think about our song together," she said. "You can also listen to Glory Deluxe everywhere now !!!!" the singer added.

In response, Backstreet Boys took to Twitter to announce their new stint with their fellow '90s star. The band wrote that Matches is the collaboration they had been waiting for the last 20 years, and nothing is glorious than to see it happen.

Before dropping Matches and Glory's deluxe version album, the singer released the called Swimming in the Stars, an unreleased track from 2016. The music piece's reveal is to mark the celebration of her 39th birthday on Dec. 2.

Ew divulged that Swimming in the Stars is in Britney's new album and the featured track called Mood Ring. Before, the said track is unavailable for streamers not living in Japan, but the Everytime singer made the song available for everyone.

Moreover, Britney is halting her stage performances in the meantime. She vowed never to perform until her father, Jamie Spears, is removed from her conservatorship. Reports also find that the singer is taking a break from recording new songs, as long as she gets what she wants, legally.

Britney's 2016 album Glory is her last studio album that was released. However, the singer's fans are hopeful for the New Year, hoping that their idol is up for something colossal.
