The fight against Hyunckel is getting intense as Dai continues to struggle in Dragon Quest: The Adventure of Dai Episode 11. The new episode is called Hyunckel, the Dark Swordsman.

The official preview trailer for Dragon Quest: The Adventure of Dai Episode 11 has been released. The promo hints at Dai and Hyunckel’s battle in the forthcoming episode.

“Dai’s Avan Strash had no effect. Hyunckel dons the ultimate armor and fights with his Dark Sword. His heart overflows with intense hatred. Eventually, Avan and Hyunckel’s past is revealed. Can Dai defeat Hyunckel? Next on Dragon Quest: The Adventure of Dai, Hyunckel, the Dark Swordsman,” the preview for the next episode read.

The previous episode opens with Dai, Maam and Popp getting rewarded for their exceptional bravery against Crocodine and his army of evil beasts.

The king announces that Dai can call himself “Dai, the Hero.” However, Dai tells the king that it is soon for him to attach the hero tag to his name. Popp is shocked at Dai’s response. Dai reveals that he wouldn’t have won alone as Popp, Maam, Gomechan and everyone in the castle worked as a team for the victory against Crocodine. He announces that if he is a hero, then everyone is a hero.

Dai tells the king that till he gets a little stronger and can fight without anyone, he would not call himself a hero. Meanwhile, at the devil’s hideout, Kasizz, the most powerful Heat-type spell, is bestowed upon Hadlar.

Lord Hadlar notes that he has now mastered both heat and explosion type spells. He instructs Zaboera to use his Heyedras and send an order to all their forces. Haldar summons the remaining Legion Commanders at the Sovereign Rock Castle.

Meanwhile, Dai, Popp and Maam continue their journey on a ship lent by King Romos. The captain of the ship tells that they are heading east, past Dermline Island, to the continent of Holkia. And there lies Papnica. Captain asks Dai why they want to go to Papnica when there are other bigger islands.

Popp reveals that he wants to see his precious princess in the Papnica Kingdom.

Dragon Quest: The Adventure of Dai Episode 11 is scheduled to hit the airwaves on Friday, Dec. 11, at 7:30 p.m. ET.
