Hiyori and Kawamatsu finally meet again in One Piece Episode 953. However, their meeting gets interrupted by a certain villain. The new episode is called Hiyori’s Confession! A Reunion at Bandit’s Bridge!

The official One Piece Episode 953 promo trailer has been released. The trailer suggests that Luffy is excited as he gets support from the underworld warlords.

Meanwhile, Orochi’s army attacks Hiyori and Kawamatsu’s rendezvous. Kawamatsu and Zoro will be joining forces to deal with Orochi’s men. They will bring out their best blades to fight the enemies.

“With the bosses of the underworld on his side, Luffy gets all fired up! Meanwhile, Kawamatsu and Hiyori finally see each other again but Orochi’s army comes to attack! Sword flash! Zoro and Kawamatsu! With their strong determination to protect Hiyori, they brandish their precious swords! On the next episode of One Piece! Hiyori’ s Confession! A Reunion at Bandit’s Bridge!” reads the preview text from the upcoming trailer.

In the previous One Piece episode, Queen boards the ship and instructs his men to move forward. At Ebisu Town, people are grieving over Yasui’s body as they prepare to lay it to rest in Kuri.

The episode then goes on to recap Yasui’s execution at the hands of Orochi in front of thousands of people. Nami and Kanjuro assure the people of Ebisu that they will take care of Yasui and bury him alongside Oden.

Meanwhile, Otoko, who remains deeply affected after her father’s execution, is exhausted after all the crying. At Udon’s labor camp, Luffy is preparing to master his technique but he is reminded that he must rest before giving any more stress to his body.

Hyogoro tells Luffy that he can be his sparring partner and help him improve his Ryou. Luffy powers up and allows Haki to flow inside his body. Hyogoro notes that Luffy has indeed used Ryou.

Hyogoro recalls how Kawamatsu is incredibly strong because he uses Ryou. He states that once the Straw Hat man masters it, he is sure that it will help him fight against Kaido. It remains to be seen how long will it take for Luffy to master the technique.

One Piece Episode 953 is scheduled to hit the airwaves on Saturday, Dec. 5 at 7:30 p.m. ET. The episodes are currently streaming on Crunchyroll in Japanese with English subs.
