Dai, Popp, and others move ahead after beating the Beast King Crocodine in Dragon Quest: The Adventure of Dai Episode 10. The new episode is called Onto Papnica Kingdom.

The official preview trailer for Dragon Quest: The Adventure of Dai Episode 10 has been released. The trailer shows the appearance of a mysterious man toward the end.

“Having defeated the Beast King Crocodine, Dai and friends head to the Papnica Kingdom. There, they learn a terrible truth. On their way to Leona, the party is surrounded by undead monsters. Just then, a mysterious man carrying an ominous sword appears. Next time on Dragon Quest: The Adventure of Dai, Onto Papnica Kingdom,” the preview text read.

In the last episode of the series, titled A Single Shard of Courage, Crocodine continues to overwhelm Maam and Dai as the enemy announces his victory. Meanwhile, Popp senses Dai’s pain from a distance.

However, Popp says to himself that it is not his business anymore. Later, he meets the Mage from the fake Hero’s party. His name is Masopho. However, Popp accuses him of looting others. Masopho asks him if he would like to join his squad as he has a lot of potentials.

Popp announces that he is a student of Avan and not a small-time crook like him. The Mage counters him with a question that makes him wonder.

Meanwhile, Maam reloads her gun and prepares to fire at Dai. Just when she is attacked by a creature with tentacles. However, Popp witnesses Maam’s condition in Masopho’s magic crystal.

Popp feels helpless against an enemy like Crocodine. Masopho encourages Popp to rise and fight against the villain and save his friends. He tells him that courage is not planned and true courage does not depend on the strength of one’s enemies.

The mage tells Popp that he was trained to be a mage to fight for justice. He reminds Popp that there is still a single shard of courage left in him and he must prepare to fight back. Popp is determined to protect his friends.

Dragon Quest: The Adventure of Dai Episode 10 is slated to hit the airwaves on Friday, Dec. 4 at 7:30 p.m. ET. The episodes of the series are available on Funimation.
