Miley Cyrus’s past is one that is often recorded through the media. As one of Hollywood’s favorite teen pop star in the early 2000s, Miley has been thrust into the limelight at a very young age.

In the past years, Cyrus has been openly battling her drug addiction. Her relationship with long-time boyfriend actor Liam Hemsworth also suffered because of this.

There were rumors that Cyrus was heading to Rehab because she had no control over her drug use anymore.

Globe, a gossip tabloid, reported that the ‘Hannah Montana’ star was also looking at investing millions of dollars in the marijuana industry.

Furthermore, the tabloid claims that Cyrus was off the rails after her split with Hemsworth and her constant Molly and Marijuana usage.

"Miley's loved ones staged an intervention. She's been off the rails now for so long, and something very serious had to be done because Miley's spiraling into dangerous territory with all this crazy behavior,” a source told the gossip magazine.

The singer also underwent Tonsillectomy before and ‘dropped out’ of the scene for some time. Globe alleges this was the perfect cover for Miley’s stint in rehab.

Gossipcop has debunked these claims from Globe and believes that this is a way for the gossip magazine to sell copies.

The news site claims that Miley has openly discussed her struggles with drug addiction and finds that if the singer did indeed go to rehab, she would not be one to hide it.

They also believe that Cyrus’s ‘tonsillectomy’ was never used by the ‘Wrecking Ball’ singers as a ‘cover-up.’

In an interview with ‘The Big Ticket,’ Cyrus reveals her battle with drug use. She explains that as a young person, there is a stigma behind someone not using drugs as a ‘party pooper,’ a not so fun person.

She continued to explain that she sees herself as someone very fun, even off the drugs, and she feels 100 percent energetic all the time.

Miley Cyrus continuous to make music. She has released singles that send a message about her life with Liam and her troubles from the past.

Currently, the singer is concentrating on a new genre of music. She has begun to experiment with Country Rock music. She is also supporting her younger sister's career in music.

Both Miley and sister Noah Cyrus made a cover of Noah’s original song ‘I Got So High That I Saw Jesus’ recently.
