In a bid to right their wrongs and bolster their ailing image, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, or as we know them as Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, made an unprecedented move by hiring two US-based publicity experts.

The royal pair, who has been heavily criticized for their engagements and projects in the past months, have finally realized that they are burning their image down.

Their latest PR blunder was on Remembrance Day. Prince Harry and Meghan Markle celebrated the British military event by visiting the Los Angeles National Cemetery and putting bouquets on the graves of two wartime hero.

Harry and Meghan hired a professional photographer to take pictures of their visit and publish it on the internet. This move was branded as a PR stunt by many royal experts.

“She’s taken on two ambitious, smart, career-driven women who have her best interests at heart. Meghan hopes to turn things around and show people how committed to doing good she is,” a source revealed to The Sun.

Christine Weil Schirmer has been installed in a newly created head of communications role and Toya Holness has been appointed press secretary by the Sussex camp.

Weil Shirmer is an ex-executive of famous social media platform Pinterest. At the same time, Toya is a former high school soccer star and an executive for marketing agency Deluxe and a PR firm in London.

Apparently, the Duchess is very happy about her decision to employ women for her team and to revamp her image.

The source also reveals Meghan’s feelings towards her and Prince Harry’s decreasing popularity in the UK and that she is fully aware that the Sussex’s are no longer the golden couple.

Interestingly, the couple will continue to employ Sunshine Sachs, a Hollywood PR firm, as well as their UK PR person James Holt, who will reportedly work closely with Christine Schirmer.

The couple is currently very busy with their projects, especially their foundation ‘Archewell,’ which was launched last month.

Both Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have been putting their titles and the royal family’s name in peril after dabbling in political banter.

In the past week, Meghan Markle was lauded for breaking a royal barrier and becoming the first royal woman to exercise her right to vote.

Despite that achievement, Markle’s image has yet to be revived after her and Prince Harry’s disastrous stint as a working royal in the past year.
