The US Presidential elections are happening in November, although the pandemic is still ravaging the world, especially in the US, with its rising cases, the elections are still going to push through. Prince Harry and Meghan Markle moving to the US has brought about changes into the royal world, but there is one thing that Meghan Markle can do that Prince Harry can’t while in American soil and that is to practice her right to vote.

The decision of Harry and Meghan to leave their royal duties have created quite a stir in the royal world. Many British citizens believe that it was Meghan who influences Harry.

Now, there are rumors that Meghan is looking for a career in politics.

In her most recent engagement with ‘When All Women Vote’, the Duchess talked about bringing change and empowering women and delivering a message of how important their votes will be for the future of women in the upcoming Presidential election.

The engagement is all innocent on the outside, but according to sources the Duchess was invited by Michell Obama herself, former First Lady of the United States, and co-founder of ‘When All Women Vote’.

Meghan also did an interview together with Gloria Steinem, a celebrated feminist, and author, where they talked about equality and women votes.

The Duchess has found her way again back to her activism rhetoric, and this has gathered much praise from her fans.

According to the source, Meghan has expressed her pleasure of being back in American soil and that she is excited to vote in the upcoming elections. For Prince Harry, the case may not be the same.

The royal family has stayed apolitical since Queen Elizabeth’s reign. The Royals are seen as a unifying institution of Britain and stay well away from the complexities of politics.

PEOPLE editor Michelle Tauber said, "Meghan has said she is absolutely voting and that she is thrilled to be able to use her voice and exercise her right to vote. Meghan herself pointed out that her husband, Prince Harry, is not allowed to vote and she had no intention of being voiceless in this election. It's not a law in the UK, it's not illegal for royals to vote but it is the custom and it's actually stated explicitly in Royal Family literature that they abstain from voting because they're considered a unifying figure for Great Britain."

Harry has stayed mum on her wife’s recent engagements, although people close to the couple have said that the Prince fully supports her wife. The Prince still stays apolitical as a sign of respect to her regal blood.
