Henry Winkler has been spending his time in quarantine, which seemed to be pretty successful for the legend. The 74-year-old actor recently launched his latest book for children named Lights, Camera, Danger, which is the new installment of his series of Alien Superstar.

The middle school series has been co-written by Lin Oliver. The actor revealed that the process of this book helped him to spend his time amid pandemic in isolation. Winkler said that his glass was half full a month ago and now things have spilled everywhere.

"The country I thought I grew up in, the country I was taught that I live in, is all of a sudden like the sands of time going through one of those sand clocks," the actor said during the conversation with Kevin Frazier.

The actor said that it seems he is witnessing his own country drifting and he has no clue towards which route. He said that it makes him upset and feels like "bone-crushing". Winkler admitted that most of the time his "natural effervescence" helps him to stay away from the chaos.

Winkler explained that writing the new Middle-Grade Reader's volume two has made him extremely proud and it will be coming out on Oct. 6. The actor who grew up with a learning disorder called dyslexia has completed writing more than 30 novels in his career.

The Here Comes the Boom star said that he had no clue that he will become a writer at some point in his life. However, in 2003 when his career wasn't going the way he wanted, someone suggested the actor write these novels, and now, he has completed almost 35 novels.

The actor spoke about his writing partner, Oliver, and said that he has been writing in the 73-year-old author's office since 2003. He explained how he talks while she types and sometimes she has an idea that she types and he wait.

Although after writing Oliver reads back the idea with Winkler and they argue on every single word. The actor joked that now when they look back, suddenly there are so many novels. He joked that they both write for children like him who are not interested in reading.

The actor explained that the idea of writing these novels is to make children read without any assignment. The books are written for their entertainment and not to force them to learn anything.
