Harry and Meghan Markle made an appearance yesterday night for TIME’s 100 Most Infulential People telecast. The virtual event, which introduced the several personalities part of the list has garnered major traction in the media, especially when it was announced that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex were going to make a special appearance.

But not all celebrities agreed with TIME’s move to include the couple in their list and to invite them to appear in their telecast.

Piers Morgan, host and avid royal critic had some words to say for the royal couple.

Mr. Morgan has had a previous row with the Duke and Duchess of Sussex earlier this month, after Meghan Markle became a key speaker for the political movement, ‘When All Women Vote’.

The host called on for Meghan’s title to be stripped off from her, due to the fact that the Duchess got involved in a political rally.

Although his outcries were reprimanded, he had a solid reason behind his claim.

Mr. Morgan tweeted to strip Meghan Markle’s title of Duchess after he explained that royal family members are supposed to stay neutral in politics.

This has been known by many, that the royal members are apolitical and have so especially during the reign of Queen Elizabeth II.

Meghan’s fans immediately came to her defense, saying that the Duchess was not urging people to vote for a particular candidate, but only calling out to register to vote in the upcoming US elections.

Still, Morgan believed the Meghan Markle was siding Joe Biden during her speech for ‘When All Women Vote’.

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s dialogue on the telecast also spoke about the current political climate in the United States.

Meghan expressed the necessity of people to register to vote, according to her that this election is the election that truly matters.

Prince Harry echoed these thoughts, saying that even though he cannot vote due to his status and his citizenship, he wishes that people would register and vote for the right person.

Meghan Markle is said to be voting in the upcoming election, although these reports are still to be confirmed. The Duchess of Sussex is an American citizen and now that they have cut off their ties with the royal family it is possible that the Duchess will vote.

Meghan Markle is one of President Donald Trump’s biggest critic, voicing out her disgust in a tweet last 2016 election.

The couple has been praised for their call for people to vote.
