Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s decision to leave the royal abode has been a devastating blow to the centuries-old institution. Only a handful of royals have stepped away from their royal duties and most of them did not find success in their commercial ventures and returned to the royal folds.

But Harry and Meghan have found a thriving life in sunny state, California in the United States. With Meghan being an American ex-actress, it was easy for the couple to adjust in the US. Yet, the two have been very distant to their relatives and life in the United Kingdom, it was known that the two had no plans to continue living in the UK once their exit was finalized.

Sadly, Harry and Meghan also decided to skip one very important royal holiday, Christmas 2019. The royal family who is known to celebrate it together were not joined by the Duke and Duchess of Sussex on the 2019 Christmas holidays of the royal.

It is supposed to be some sort of gathering for the entire senior royals, and yet due to the escalating tensions within the royal household at that time, Harry and Meghan opted to skip it. Instead, the couple flew to Canada in Vancouver Island to spend their own little private holiday with their little tot, Archie Harrison in Canada.

But reports have claimed that Harry and Meghan want to go back to the United Kingdom this coming Christmas to join the royal family. According to sources, now that the two are settled in California, they are seeking to visit their other royal relatives and mend broken bridges.

Harry and Meghan bought a $14.7 million estate in Montecito, Santa Barbara, California, giving them a very settled life in America. The couple also recently signed with Netflix a deal that broker the couple a $150 million paycheck.

Harry and Meghan have found enormous success in the other side of the pond, but this also came with a price after their personal relations with other royals have deteriorated due to their decision.

The plans of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex to go back to the United Kingdom to join the royal family for the Christmas Holidays could be a sign that they are ready to mend broken bridges with their family.

Harry, especially, wants to fix his relationship with his older brother, Prince William, who is one of his biggest supporters and mentor.
