The news of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle suing the Associated Press that published the Duchess of Sussex’s personal letter to his father has been much of a discussion for many royal watchers. According to fans of the couple, Prince Charles, has supported the couple's bid silently.

Prince Charles has been known to have been quietly supporting son, Prince Harry and daughter-in-law, Meghan Markle since their exit from the royal institution. Despite this, the king-to-be cannot support them publicly and has been keeping it under wraps instead in fear that he will be disliked by the UK citizens.

‘Finding Freedom’ author, Omid Scobie, revealed to Royal Beat TV that Prince Charles had the greatest sympathy for Prince Harry and Meghan Markle. His sympathy extended to fighting for Prince Harry and Meghan Markle keeping their ‘HRH’ title before stepping down from their royal duties.

Scobie explained that this was to save Harry and Meghan from the hurt that the late Princess Diana felt when she had her HRH title revoked. Prince Harry and Meghan Markle sued Associated Newspapers last Sunday regarding the publishing of private letters sent by the Duchess of Sussex to her estranged father, Thomas Markle.

The handwritten letters were sent back in 2018, coming up to the nuptials of Harry and Meghan but were published only a little less than a year later. In the letters, Meghan spoke about her heartbreaking into a million pieces after her father decidedly corroborated with media in the UK for an exclusive.

Prince Charles took the role of walking Meghan Markle down the aisle for her wedding, which solidified her bond with the heir apparent. The media frenzy surrounding Meghan Markle was too much for the Duke and Duchess of Sussex after tabloids tried to defame the ex-actress.

This led to the couple deciding to leave public life.

Harry and Meghan are living in California, United States now and have been living as ‘private citizens’. The two are still actively supporting several charities and movements.

According to rumors, Prince Charles was supporting the two financially up to the earlier this month, when Prince Harry and Meghan Markle struck a $150 million deal with Netflix.
