Meghan Markle’s ongoing court battle with the Associated Press in the United Kingdom has made it to the headlines after it was revealed that the letters the Duchess has sent to her father were part of a media strategy.

The particular letters that were presented and talked about during the latest hearing of the court case were pertaining to one that Meghan sent his father about not attending her upcoming wedding with Prince Harry.

According to the lawyers of the Associated Press, Meghan Markle wrote the letter and discussed it with Kensington Palace officials before sending it to his father.

This is alleged to be a move made by the Duchess as part of a media strategy and to manipulate the media. They also alleged that the Duchess used her friends as PR’s to influence the media before the letters were sent to her father, Thomas Markle.

Bombshell's accusations were also dropped regarding Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s involvement with the authors of biography, ‘Finding Freedom’, Omid Scobie and Caroly Durand.

Both authors have denied any direct contact with the Duke and Duchess of Sussex and that the things they have written on the book about the letter was lifted from the leaked letters and not from Meghan Markle herself.

The Duchess of Sussex is said to take the witness stand in the legal battle this upcoming January 11. The cost of the lawsuit has also been criticized as this has already summed up to over $4.3 million. According to the reports, this is seen to be too much and disproportionate.

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have openly discussed their dislike on the headlines run by tabloids in the UK about them. Coming up to their wedding and the announcement of their engagement, the UK media have only run stories that were aimed to defame Meghan Markle.

Meghan Markle was also heavily criticized and compared to Kate Middleton during her pregnancy, which has been greatly reprimanded by Prince Harry. The lack of support from the royal palace has also angered the Duke of Sussex, which led him to release a statement unapproved by other senior royals.

This has led up to the Duke and Duchess revealing their plans of stepping down from their royal duties and becoming private citizens. The couple announced their separation from the royal institution back in January 2020, with it being finalized in March.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are now based in the United States of America where they are doing commercial ventures.
