Mission Impossible franchise and Tom Cruise have become inseparable over the years and it is not possible to think of the one without remembering the other. However, the actor’s so-called eccentricity has always made headlines and there are certain rumors of his strange behavior about the much-loved franchise.

Last year, a magazine claimed that the actor was sacking all those crews and cast members from Mission Impossible who were out of shape. The tabloid contended that the actor gave a warning to all people who are involved with this franchise.

It seems the actor warned them either to be fit or be ready to get sacked. An unnamed insider, reportedly, told the publication that the Top Gun actor wanted everybody to be healthy and fit irrespective of whether they wanted to be so or not.

Many people are aware that Hollywood A-lister is a strict disciplinarian where his diet is concerned. The truth was that the actor did not demand the crew and the cast to be on a strict diet or follow a health regimen.

He revealed on James Corden’s Late Late Show, which is played on YouTube about how he distributed deserts to all the cast and crew as he could not eat it. So, this does not appear to be someone who is giving “ultimatums” to people who are working for Mission Impossible

A magazine alleged Tom Cruise was asking Joaquin Phoenix to associate himself with the Church of Scientology. He also wanted Phoenix to play the role of the antagonistic in the next Mission Impossible movie. It seems the success of the actor in the Joker movie sparked Cruise’s interest in him to act opposite him.

The report also claimed that the Mission Impossible star wished Phoenix to associate himself with the Church of Scientology as the latter had it in him to emerge as the upcoming celebrity Scientologist.

Meanwhile, it eventually came out that the tabloid was not being truthful. Perhaps the outlet was not aware that Phoenix had expressed doubts about Scientology in the movie, The Master, Vulture reports. What is interesting to note is that the shooting for Mission Impossible 7 has begun and Phoenix is not in its cast.

There was another recent rumor about Cruise wishing to move away from Hollywood and settle down in London. A magazine even insisted that the actor was busy with house hunting after being in quarantine at the headquarters of British Scientology.

However, Tom Cruise already has a house in London though he lives in Clearwater, Florida for most of the time, Gossip Cop reports. While the actor is still living in London, he has never announced his intention to quit acting or Hollywood.
