Tyler James Williams took social media to celebrate Everybody Hates Chris' 15 years and noted that the sitcom helped the actor to kick start his career. The 27-year-old actor mentioned the network his sitcom aired on more than a decade ago, which doesn't exist anymore.

"15 years ago this little show premiered on a network that no longer exists. It kick-started my and several other careers of very talented people. I’m forever grateful for that," James Williams tweeted along with the photograph of the entire cast from the show.

The sitcom was first aired in 2005 on Sept. 22 and comprised of four seasons that gained popularity successfully. The show was originally written by Ali LeRoi and Chris Rock for a network called UPN, which has been defunct now.

The series showcased a teenage boy who was apparently a younger version of Rock. Although the show came to an end in May 2009, the show has garnered a new audience with the help of streaming platforms and reruns on different networks.

The comedy series features Tichina Arnold who portrayed Rochelle's character and Terry Crews played Julius' character. Both the characters were primary characters as they portrayed James Williams' parents. Imani Hakim and Tequan Richmond portrayed siblings of the main lead while Vincent Martella played Greg Wuliger, who is Chris' close friend.

The actor posted a series of tweets following the celebration post that revealed some fun facts related to behind the scenes and frequently asked questions by the fans. Williams also opened up about the child labor rules that ensure that actors work in a more efficient way.

The actor recalled the time they shot the series along with a picture and disclosed that all the children were roughly 12-13 years old. However, the law helped the kids to work for only 9.5 hours compared to other shows that demand 12 hours.

Williams further revealed that their sitcom helped the network, UPN earns its only Golden Globe nomination. However, later the network merged with WB and later became CW. The actor also revisited the first audition moment of Hakim, who portrayed little sister's character of Chris.

The actor revealed that Everybody Hates Chris was the first-ever audition Hakim ever attended and this turned out to be the reason why she was absolutely natural and great in her performance. He also promoted Mythic Quest: Raven's Banquet which is available on Apple+ as Hakim is currently working on the new comedy series.
