Soma and Asahi’s cooking battle finally concludes in Food Wars!: Shokugeki No Soma Season 5, Episode 12. The episode is titled The Perfect Rocks.

The official website has unveiled Food Wars!: Shokugeki No Soma Season 5, Episode 12 synopsis and spoiler shots.

According to the latest episode 12 spoilers, like Asahi’s dish, Soma’s dish triggers Mana’s Gifting ability at the venue. It remains to be seen who will win the contest and move forward.

Meanwhile, the battle between Soma and Asahi comes to an end. In the meantime, Azami Nakiri meets Mana Nakiri. Episode 12 of Food Wars!: Shokugeki No Soma Season 5 is set to reveal the past of Azami and Mana for the first time.

In the previous episode, the theme of the current round between Asahi and Soma is combining the Five Grand Cuisines into one dish.

Soma announces that he will cook five dishes for each Grand Cuisine and then cram them together to present the final dish for the judges.

The audience is shocked by his plan. Asahi advises Soma that it is not the time for him to try something risky. He feels Soma is bound to fail if he implements his impossible plan. Meanwhile, the preparations and cooking style used in the Five Grand Cuisines are diverse.

The Noir Chefs feel it is difficult to make one of those dishes in the allotted time. Meanwhile, Asahi is the first one to complete his dish and the audience notes that he looks quite exhausted. It is likely because of his extensive use of the Crossed Knives to prepare the dish.

However, Soma feels when there is a chance of failure that is when one finds true opportunity.

Food Wars!: Shokugeki No Soma Season 5, Episode 12 is scheduled to broadcast Friday, Sept. 18, 2020. The episodes are available online for streaming on Crunchyroll.
