Due to the coronavirus pandemic, Princess Beatrice had to cancel her royal wedding. It was supposed to happen this May but it is not known when it will push through.

Some are saying that the princess and her fiance Ed Mapelli Mozzi will go through with the wedding, albeit a small one. But there are more who are concluding that the wedding will just be moved to 2021.

But, according to Express UK, the princess has received criticism because she might want to push through with an expensive wedding after all. Because of what is going on in the country, some members of the public think that Beatrice should not even think about her own expensive wedding. After all, she is not the only one who has had to cancel a big event because of the coronavirus.

But there are those who are also quick to defend her. Princess Beatrice is not one of the senior royals, unlike the Queen, Prince Charles and Prince William. She might even be called a private citizen. She has also not made any announcements regarding her wedding, so people are expected to hold off their judgment until any official announcement has been made.

Meanwhile, Cosmopolitan reports that Beatrice will actually be getting a new title once she marries her fiance. Apparently, she will now become a countess, although this has nothing to do with her ties to British royalty.

Her husband to be, Edo, is actually an Italian count, and he is also the only male descendant for the next generation.

This revelation is courtesy of Count Alessandro Mapelli, who is Edo's father. He also claims that his son and Princess Beatrice are very happy together and that the couple really fit well together.

Meanwhile, the rest of the royal family are busy at this time, doing everything they can for their people during the pandemic. The Queen has made several public addresses and Prince William and Kate Middleton have done their duties virtually. They not only called several hospitals but a kindergarten school as well.

Prince Charles, who was earlier diagnosed with COVID-19 but has since recovered, is also set to do his duties while still in isolation at Balmoral. His other son, Prince Harry, along with his wife actress Meghan Markle, has settled in California and transitioning to their new life there. It was reported that they were supposed to return to the UK in time for their son Archie's first birthday, but that has been put on hold due to the pandemic.
