In just five long months, 24-year-old American ex-convict rapper Daniel Hernandez, best known as Tekashi 6ix9ine, went from living a lonely life behind bars to giving prominence to his new song that tops the Billboard Hot 100.

As per Hollywood Life, the rapper released his brand-new album on Sept. 4 entitled ‘Tattle Tales.’ Tekashi, who many is under the impression of the rapper being the brightest star in hip-hop today, has trusted the “rat” label for his newest album stunt. The album that sings of its name, Tekashi, shared his all-out sentiments about his time in prison.

Furthermore, the album’s name comes after he filed a plea deal that mandates him to “tattle” on his former friend in ‘LOCKED UP 2.’ To everyone’s surprise, 47-year-old hip-hop legend Akon joined in with the rapper for the track.

The song is quite different from his previous song releases, as he shares his story while trapped behind steel parents. Moreover, he gave his beloved four-year-old daughter, Saraiyah Hernandez, an enormous shout-out.

“Thinkin’ ’bout the things that I did / Got me thinkin’ like, “Why the f–k I did that?” / Got me wishin’ that I could take it all back,” part of the lyrics sings.

The fans of the rapper were all in the wondering season if Akon would seriously join their idol with its newest song, so it was stun to see the ‘Right Now’ singer join forces with Tekashi to two of the album’s tracks.

Akon joined forces with Tekashi again for the track called ‘LEAH,’ which is more fun-filled than ‘LOCKED UP2.’ The said song bottles up a DJ Sammy hit song in 2002 called ‘Heaven’ in the chorus.

There were a lot of reactions among the rapper’s fans over his collaborations with other artists. One fan tweeted that no one thought Akon would grace on Tekashi’s album twice.

Another fan commented that Tekashi and Akon had gone stu*** hard over their team-up.

Despite celebrating his freedom from prison from testifying against his former associates Nine Trey Gangsta Blood gang, he wasn’t very vocal about his plan in releasing an album. He made known ‘Tattle Tales’ on August 26. For the time being, the rapper hails four-song releases since he left the prison, namely ‘PUNANI,’ ‘GOOBA,’ ‘YAYA,’ and his team-up with Nicki Minaj called ‘TROLLZ.’

Though the rapper has clung to the “rat” persona, making him name his album after tattling, he proves to be in cooperation with the feds to make the judge sentence his former associates.
