The official announcement that Katy Perry has given birth was made by the pop superstar's fiancé and actor Orlando Bloom on his personal Instagram account on Aug. 27. "Welcome to the world, Daisy Dove Bloom," the proud daddy wrote.

A handful of friends and relatives of the couple commented and showed their love to the newborn child, including Orlando's ex-wife and supermodel Miranda Kerr. On the actor's post comments section, fans were thrilled and delighted when the 37-year-old model commented, "I'm so happy for you guys," alongside several cute emojis. Furthermore, Miranda wrote that she couldn't wait to meet the lovely infant.

According to Hollywood Life, to some, it may sound off and awkward to witness an ex-wife celebrate and congratulate the birth of his ex-husband's child with another woman. However, Miranda and Orlando called their relationship quits in good terms and has maintained a happy, healthy, and optimistic friendship since then.

In fact, following the 2013 divorce of the former couple, 35-year-old 'Never Really Over' singer and mother of one, attended Miranda's skincare line launch in June 2019. Throughout the 'Kora Organics' event, Miranda and Katy were all smiled while posing in front of the media cameras. After the event, the model uploaded a photo of her and Katy on Instagram. The caption reads: "Thanks for shining bright with me."

Katy immediately shared the same photo to her feed, reciprocating the kind words of Miranda.

Moreover, Miranda was carrying her second child on her belly at the same time as the event, whom she shares with Evan Spiegel. When the time came for Katy to announce her pregnancy with Orlando, the model liked the post, defining her liking to the new chapter her ex-husband and Katy will enter in their relationship.

For starters, Miranda and Orlando began their love story in 2007 that led the duo to tie the knots in a private wedding ceremony in June of 2010. Their marriage bloomed into something more significant when they welcomed their first child, Flynn Bloom, a year later.

In 2013, their marriage became stormy that eventually resulted in a divorce. Despite the former couple putting an end to their marriage, the actor revealed that their split was amicable. He said that they both love each other, and the three of them will still be a family.

According to Orlando, life sometimes doesn't go to what and where we hope for, but since they were both adults, they understood the consequences and results of their separation well.
