Hollywood actress Katie Holmes was recently spotted on a solitary walk as she went for her grocery shopping in Manhattan, New York City. Holmes had recently revealed her intention to vote for Joe Biden.

The Dawson’s Creek star styled her hair into a bun and wore a pair of chic blue jeans to go out for shopping her groceries. The 41-year-old had worn a T-shirt, which features the 1988 cover of The Beatles’ unofficial release called Back-Track

However, Holmes made it a point to cover her face with a surgical mask as a precautionary measure while stepping out. Andrew Cuomo, the Governor of New York has made it compulsory to wear masks for public outings since April 15 this year.

The Batman Begins actress was seen on the streets of NYC a few days after she opened up about which presidential candidate she would be voting for this time around. The actress declared that she would like to vote for Joe Biden, the Democratic presidential candidate.

She took to social media and shared a sultry shot from her cover-shoot of a magazine in April. The First Daughter actress received compliments from many celebrities including Jeanne Yang, her ex-design partner, Jenni Konner, co-creator of Camp, and High Fidelity actress Zoë Kravitz among others.

It was just last week when the actress posted a rare clip of her teenage daughter Suri who she shares with her former husband Tom Cruise. They decided to split in 2012.

However, Katie Holmes had mentioned last week that she prefers to keep her 14-year-daughter out of her interviews. She feels that the ongoing quarantine has been an eye-opener for her, The Daily Telegraph reports.

Meanwhile, Cruise has not been snapped with his daughter in the last seven years. This is even though their custody arrangement entails the actor to visit his daughter up to 10 days a month.

Speculations are rife that Cruise’s behavior is related to his ex-wife’s supposed disinterest in the Church of Scientology. One of their wedding guests, actress Leah Remini has mentioned that she feels he is waiting for his daughter to grow up so that he can convince her to join the Church and away from her mom.

The actress feels that Holmes tried to distance herself from the controversial belief for what she thought was for her daughter’s wellbeing. Remini feels there is some kind of arrangement in place for protecting her daughter.

Katie Holmes has acted in the 2020 film The Brahms, The Boy II, which is now being streamed via VOD. The actress plays the role of a widow who is also the mother-of-three in the film, Daily Mail reports.
