The world knows Katie Holmes as a loving mother to her teenage daughter Suri Cruise. The actress made her fans happy this Monday after she posted a rare clip of her 14-year-old daughter on the streets of NYC.

The Batman Begins actress shared the adorable black-white video on her Instagram page and captioned with a sunshine emoji. Her fans were delighted to see the rare clip. One of them mentioned that the young girl is having a great life while the second one thought Holmes was a “fantastic” mom. 

The Dawson’s Creek star shares her teenage daughter with her former spouse Tom Cruise. The Top Gun actor is also father to his two adult children Connor and Isabella. He shares them with his other former wife Nicole Kidman.

Holmes lives with her daughter in New York’s Manhatten area and has been holed there for most of the days amid the ongoing COVID-19 lockdown. The duo has been keeping themselves engaged by pursuing certain creative ways. 

In May this year, the First Daughter star posted a photo of them both in tie-die clothes, which they painted on their own. Incidentally, it is the latest trend these days. Earlier this month, the actress spoke enthusiastically about her quarantine life in New York while speaking to an Australian publication called Daily Telegraph. 

Many are aware that Katie Holmes is not in favor of putting her daughter Suri Cruise in the spotlight. Jerry O’ Connell, her co-star in their most recent movie The Secret: Dare to Dream revealed that he found the actress to be a hands-on mother. 

O’ Connell also mentioned he feels the actress is one of the loveliest persons he has come across. The actor not only finds her to be beautiful and an excellent actress, but also a great mother and an “inspiring parent.”

The actor further added he noted how much time his co-star spent with Suri while they were shooting for their film. He felt it truly motivational as he is not so well connected with his kids while at work, Hello! Magazine reports. 

The mother-of-one had earlier revealed that she does not like to speak about her daughter much while being interviewed. Finally, Katie Holmes shared that there has been a big lesson from the ongoing COVID-19 quarantine. She has learned to even celebrate doing simple tasks such as spending time with her Suri Cruise and preparing dinner for them during the lockdown.
