Prince William was allegedly accused of being insensitive while his wife, Kate Middleton was pregnant.

Celebrity Dirty Laundry dubbed Prince William as insensitive after he made an innocent remark about cooking red meat. While at a charity cook-off, the Duke of Cambridge said that he likes roast so roast chicken or steak are his favorites.

Prince William also said that he likes the doneness of his meat to be medium-rare or quite alive.

Even though Prince William didn’t mean any harm when he revealed that he eats red meat, the tabloid still made a big fuss out of it. They said that the future king is insensitive because the foods that he likes can’t be eaten by Middleton because she was pregnant.

The publication also said that royal insiders are hopeful that Prince William won’t cook any rare meat in front of Middleton. After all, she was in her second trimester of pregnancy at that time.

Gossip Cop quickly debunked the claims made by the tabloid. The publication said that while it is true that rare meat should be avoided by pregnant women, Prince William didn’t make any mistake by revealing what kind of meat he likes.

There wasn’t also any indication that Prince William was still cooking rare meat in front of Middleton while she was pregnant with their child.

Gossip Cop also pointed out that a lot of other publications picked up Prince William’s statement by saying that they were surprised that he can cook. However, no publication other than Celebrity Dirty Laundry called the dad of three insensitive.

However, the tabloid’s dubious claims did not stop there. Celebrity Dirty Laundry also questioned if Prince William is actually paying attention to Middleton’s needs.

“Still, many royal fans can't help but wonder if Prince William is even paying attention to his wife's needs. Some have even pointed out that his comments are a bit insensitive, given the timing of Kate Middleton's pregnancy right now... It's not helping her situation at all,” the publication claimed.

However, it is important to note that Prince William has always been supportive throughout Middleton’s three pregnancies. In fact, he was present during the births of Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis.

The Duke of Cambridge also proudly introduced his children to the entire world shortly after they were born. Middleton gave birth at St. Mary’s Hospital’s Lindon Wing in 2013, 2015, and 2018.
