Queen Elizabeth was reportedly upset after seeing a man smoking while at the Royal Ascot.

New Idea uploaded a photo of the queen with a stern look on her face while sitting a few inches away from the unnamed man who’s smoking.

The publication claimed that Her Majesty is looking at the man with an upset look on her face. But upon closer inspection, the queen’s is simply tilted to her right, but she isn’t looking at the man.

In the second photo, the queen bent her body forward while still looking to her right. However, it is unclear if she did so to stare at the smoking man. After all, the queen also placed her hand on her back, which means that she could be fixing something.

This year’s Royal Ascot is very much different from the events from previous years. The queen was forced to miss out on one of her favorite events due to the coronavirus pandemic.

But the queen still made it a point to celebrate the occasion in her own way. On the royal family’s official Instagram account, the monarch shared a lengthy message.

The queen thanked those that organized this year’s Royal Ascot. And she also encouraged fans to enjoy the races from the comfort of their homes.

Her Majesty said the statement with her name.

The queen has never skipped the Royal Ascot throughout the past 68 years. But since she’s already 94, she’s susceptible to the deadly coronavirus and has been advised to stay home.

Since March, she has been self-isolating at Windsor Castle with Prince Philip. But every now and then, the queen makes appearances via video interviews and messages.

The other members of the royal family also skipped the Royal Ascot this year. After all, they are also self-isolating in their respective homes.

Prince Charles and Camilla Parker Bowles are in Birkhall. Prior to staying there, Prince Charles tested positive for coronavirus.

Kate Middleton and Prince William are self- quarantining with Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis at Anmer Hall.

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are still on lockdown in Los Angeles with their son, Archie.

As of late, it is still unclear when the members of the royal family will make public appearances. But they already canceled or postponed some of their most important royal engagements.

Princess Beatrice, for instance, had to cancel her royal wedding to Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi multiple times due to COVID-19.
