It may have been the movie that made her rise to prominence, but it seems that Anna Kendrick taught of shooting for Twilight as a traumatic experience.

It's been 12 years since the movie based on Stephenie Meyer's novel was released but Kendrick still has very vivid memories of filming on set and some of her memories were not very good. According to Insider, the actress did not even think that she would be landing the role of Jessica Stanley.

Apparently, she remembers that during the audition, she actually did not do that well and all she was hoping for was being considered for future roles in any of the director's upcoming movies. But she was obviously considered perfect for the role as they even gave her something that was not in the books.

Even though she was never the valedictorian in the books, in the movie she was one and she even got to give a speech, which many people still compliment her for up to this day. But according to CNN, Kendrick believes that people remember the speech not really for her acting, but because of the star of the movie, Kristen Stewart, who played Bella Swan.

She claimed that while she was the one first seen during her speech, it also cuts to Stewart and she really performed well that's why people remember that seen.

Of course, Kendrick's acting is not to be scoffed at. Though she was not as well known as the movie's breakout stars Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson, Kendrick has then made a name for herself in Hollywood.

Some of her most popular movies include Pitch Perfect, Trolls, and many more. And unlike her other co-stars, Kendrick has had the honor of being nominated for Best Supporting Actress in the Academy Awards for her role in the movie Up in the Air, which also starred George Clooney.

Aside from thinking she bombed the audition, Kendrick remembers feeling miserable during the shooting. But she's not talking about her co-stars. In fact, she believed that they could all have been friends, but while shooting, she just wanted to murder everyone. The Twilight series became a huge hit and went on to have four more movies, although Anna was not part of the last movie.

At present, Kendrick stars as Darby Carter in the series Love Life, shown on HBO Max. She not only stars as the main character but also serves as the executive producer for the show.
