After the tumultuous legal battle with former spouse Johnny Depp, Amber Heard is mulling over the idea of telling her side of the story. Her disclosure might take the form of a groundbreaking book, aiming to reset the narrative that currently surrounds her, according to a source close to RadarOnline.com.

The source disclosed that Heard would request a $15 million compensation to unveil her experience publicly. The world held its breath as the ex-pair's slander trial unfolded, revealing the bitter dynamics of their ephemeral marriage that spanned from 2015 to 2017.

Following the verdict last June, the actress, best known for her role in Aquaman, rejected rumors of her leaving the film industry. She confirmed that she has relocated and is now residing in Spain.

When inquired about her plans of staying in the new country, Heard responded to a local journalist, expressing her fondness for her new home, "I hope so. I love living here."

A source close to the actress revealed her intentions of writing a memoir, stating, "She won't be silenced." The insider emphasized that Heard endured online harassment, including death threats, amid the legal turmoil with Depp. "She feels she was treated very badly during the trial," the source added.

Heard's representatives have yet to respond to these comments.

"She feels like she's the victim here," added the source, suggesting that she's grown weary of being labeled as a "deceiver" by detractors while her ex-husband makes his return to the public eye.

Meanwhile, Depp has made a comeback with a record-breaking perfume endorsement and his presence at the 2023 Cannes Film Festival for the premiere of his French film, Jeanne du Barry.

At the lawsuit's conclusion, Depp was awarded $10 million in compensatory damages and $5 million in punitive damages. The latter was later trimmed down to $350,000 in accordance with the state's statutory cap. As for Heard, she received $2 million in compensatory damages for her countersuit.

A month following the verdict, Heard filed an appeal notice but ultimately retracted her filing last December, describing the settlement decision as "difficult."

Looking ahead, the star of The Rum Diary is eager about her upcoming movie ventures. In a widely circulated TikTok video, Heard stated, "I keep moving forward. That's life."
