Following the announcement of his divorce from Kim Kardashian, rapper Kanye West's life has taken a turn for the worse, with controversies surrounding his personal life, fashion ventures, and property holdings.

West, once a member of Forbes World's Billionaires list in 2020, was recently removed from it, marking a drastic shift in his financial status. His removal came amidst a wave of controversies and public outbursts, including online spats with comedian Pete Davidson, the new boyfriend of his ex-wife, and his former collaborator, Adidas.

In addition to his removal from the Forbes list, West's reputation within the music and fashion industries has taken a significant hit. Many rappers and key figures in fashion are reported to view him as a disgraced figure.

Adding to his financial woes, West's $57 million mansion in Malibu appears to be deteriorating, according to recent reports. The mansion, designed by architect Tadao Ando and billed as "part house, part sculpture," was intended to be a testament to West's artistic vision. However, it now seems neglected following the closure of West's construction company, Yeezy Construction Inc., in November.

In another blow to West's finances, Adidas was granted legal permission in November 2022 to freeze nearly $100 million of the rapper's funds tied to his Yeezy brand. Responding to the development, West announced plans to run for president again in 2024, seeking to draw attention to his financial situation.

"I went from being a multi-billionaire to not even being able to use my Apple Pay four nights ago," West lamented, adding, "You know this can happen to an American that didn't even steal anything, that didn't even hurt anyone. This could just happen to you for saying the wrong idea out loud."

After the legal battle between Adidas and West surfaced, Nike reportedly commented on the situation, hinting at having warned Adidas about the potential risks of working with West.

With West's personal life and business ventures facing such turmoil, the rapper's future - both personal and professional - appears uncertain, marking a drastic fall from his former status as a billionaire artist and fashion mogul.
