Melania Trump, former first lady, was conspicuously missing from the Mar-a-Lago ballroom on Tuesday evening when her husband, former President Donald Trump, addressed the public for the first time since becoming the first U.S. president in history to be arraigned on criminal charges.

Speaking to around 400 supporters at his Palm Beach, Florida residence and club, the 76-year-old said, "I have a great family and they've done a fantastic job and we appreciate it very much. They've gone through a lot." He mentioned his children Don Jr., Eric, and Ivanka, as well as his teenage son Barron, but Melania was not acknowledged.

While Don Jr., Eric, and Tiffany Trump were present at the event with their partners, Ivanka and her husband Jared Kushner were in Wyoming for Passover celebrations. A source told The Post that Ivanka and Kushner have supported Trump privately as family members.

Jason Miller, Trump campaign spokesperson, did not immediately reply to The Post's request for information on Melania's whereabouts during the past few days, after the former president traveled to New York without her for his Tuesday arraignment.

MyPillow CEO and Trump ally Mike Lindell, who attended the event, could not provide information on Melania's location on Tuesday night, saying, "I don't know, I'm gonna go find out."

Michael LaRosa, former first lady Jill Biden's ex-spokesman, suggested on Twitter that Melania's absence during her husband's speech was noteworthy. "There would have been so much power in that picture," he said, referring to the potential image of Melania by Trump's side, holding his hand and demonstrating unwavering love and support.

Melania Trump, 52, was last seen with the former president the previous week when they dined at Mar-a-Lago shortly after a Manhattan grand jury voted to indict him. Donald Trump faces 34 felony counts related to falsifying business records in connection with hush-money payments made to adult film actress Stormy Daniels and former Playboy model Karen McDougal prior to the 2016 election to silence them about alleged extramarital affairs.
