Chris Rock took aim and poked fun at Meghan Markle in his new Netflix special, “Selective Outrage.”

Entertainment Tonight said the 58-year-old comedian seemingly called out the former working royal, specifically over her racism claims against some members of the British Royal Family.

Rock is said to stated that “some of that s**t she went through was not racism,” but rather what he deemed “in-law s**t.”

The “Grown Ups” actor continued, “Sometimes it’s just some in-law s**t,” before quipping, “Because she’s complaining, I’m like, ‘What the f**k is she talking about? ‘They’re so racist, they wanted to know how brown the baby was going to be…’ I’m like, ‘That’s not racist,’ cause’ even Black people want to know how brown the baby gon’ be. S**t. We check behind them ears,” as per the outlet.

Chris Rock appeared to have referenced Meghan Markle’s revelations during a 2021 sit-down interview with Oprah Winfrey.

In the exchange, the Duchess of Sussex, who was with her husband, Prince Harry, told the celebrity host that there were “concerns and conversations about how dark” their son’s “skin might be when he’s born.”

At the time, People shared in a report that Winfrey asked the former actress who made the comment in question, but she declined to answer, saying it would be too damaging.

Meanwhile, People said in a report, covering Chris Rock’s quips about Meghan Markle, that the segment began after he claimed that “everyone is trying to be the victim, including people who know g**damn well they’re not victims.”

After mentioning the Duchess of Sussex specifically, the comedian is said to have noted that she “seems like a nice lady, just complaining.”

Rock continued, “Like, didn’t she hit the light-skinned lottery,” before rhetorically asking, “And she’s still going off complaining?” as per the magazine.

Even so, the “Saturday Night Live” alum is said to have pointed out that she understood the former working royal’s “dilemma,” explaining, “Black girl trying to be accepted by her white in-laws.”

But, while Chris Rock seemingly agreed that “it’s hard,” adding that “it’s so hard, it’s very hard,” he argued that “it ain’t as hard as a white girl trying to be accepted by her Black in-laws” and noted, “Now, that s**t is really hard.”

In the end, the comedian is said to have quipped, “If you Black, and you wanna be accepted by your white in-laws, then you need to marry a Kardashian.” He added, “Because they accept everybody. Kris Jenner is like the Statue of Liberty.”

Following the reports about the matter, the magazine noted in its report, published Sunday, that a rep for Meghan Markle and Prince Harry did not immediately respond to its request for comment.
