Donald Trump took to Twitter and personally applauded himself for what he deemed as the domination and overwhelming force that ensured the peace of Minneapolis and Washington streets was not disturbed the previous night amid ongoing nation-wide protests over the killing of George Floyd. Trump's tweet comes just a day after the police forcefully cleared the area of protesters in front of the White House with batons, flash grenades, and tear gas to make way for the president to walk out and pose for photos at the St. John’s Episcopal Church, which is located nearby.

Standing in the front of the consequential church, Trump sported a grim face as he held a Bible high up for the cameras. The authorities forced the priests and other religious workers to leave the area citing authorities' actions. Just the previous night, protesters had set the church on fire.

In his tweet, Trump claimed there was no problem in D.C. the previous night while acknowledging the great job done by everyone. He admitted using overwhelming force, domination, adding that Minneapolis had no problems either. He concluded the tweet by adding, thank you, President Trump.'

Before his church visit on Jun. 1, Trump revealed that he was gearing up to mobilize federal resources including civilian and military as part of an attempt to handle the protests. He even threatened that states, cities, and areas that refuse to take steps to defend lives and property will have to face the U.S. military.

On Jun. 2, the POTUS took to his Twitter handle again to slam New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo and his brother Chris Cuomo, who works as a journalist at CNN. Trump attributed the violence and looting incidents on New York's streets to the inability of the governor to accept his offer to deploy the National Guard.

Speaking about the previous day, Trump noted that the day was bad for the Cuomo Brothers, adding that New York was teeming with Radical Left, thugs, looters, and all sorts of lowlife and scum. Trump took the opportunity to point out that NYC was ripped to pieces because Cuomo refused to take his offer of deploying the National Guard.

As expected, the presumptive Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden slammed Trump's handling of the protests on Twitter. Accusing Trump of being more interested in power than in principle, Biden pointed out that the president scattered people who were peacefully protesting in front of the White House using flash grenades and tear gas just so that he could pose for a photo outside a noble church.
