King Charles allegedly decided to meet Prince Harry in Los Angeles after an excerpt from Spare was released last year.

In its Jan. 16 issue, Woman’s Day claimed that King Charles decided to reach out to his son after realizing that the latter wasn’t really attacking him or the institution. Rather, his stories and interviews are all just a cry for help.

“Harry has made his case over and over again, and the more he goes on, the more desperate he sounds to provoke some kind of reaction from the palace. Charles is finally starting to understand that Harry doesn’t hate him or the institution and has started to see his public complaining as a desperate cry for help,” the source said.

The source added that King Charles has some negative feelings about Prince Harry’s interviews, documentaries, and memoirs. But at the end of the day, he’s trying his best to be the bigger person.

“As much as Charles hates that Harry seems hellbent on sharing dirty family laundry with the highest media bidder, his heart goes out to his son. Harry’s always been an emotional boy but he seems very lost at the minute. And Charles is worried about his mental health,” the source said.

Prior to the release of Spare, some insiders claimed that King Charles and Prince William must have warned Prince Harry about the stories that he would include in his memoir.

“Harry and William were about as close as brothers can be, and once Kate was on the scene they were thick as thieves with her. But the Sussexes ended last year basically accusing them of being ice-cold, loveless mannequins, which is something they’re expected to double down on this year,” the source said.

While it is true that Prince Harry’s memoir is filled with explosive stories about the royal family, it is important to note that no one from the institution has reacted to his book.

So, no one knows for sure what King Charles really thinks about his son’s memoir. And it’s not also true that he traveled all the way to the United States to have a conversation with Prince Harry.

The Duke of Sussex has made it clear that King Charles refused to talk to him following his Megxit.
