Kristen Bell recently opened up about her relationship with Dax Shepard. She revealed their secret to keeping a strong union even after almost a decade of marriage.

The 42-year-old actress spoke to Entertainment Tonight about the matter. As noted, the exchange took place at the premiere of her new and upcoming film, “The People We Hate At The Wedding.”

The “Veronica Mars” alum told the outlet that staying “vulnerable” is “at least my secret.” She explained that “you’ve gotta be vulnerable -- we have to be vulnerable when we don’t want to be,” adding that it works for her and the “Hit and Run” actor.

The publication continued that Dax Shepard and Kristen Bell have yet to come up with plans as to how they will celebrate their tenth wedding anniversary in 2023. Even so, it is said that she would be up for a vow renewal ceremony, stating, “Yeah, why not?”

The actress also reportedly added that she and her husband would likely go for an intimate affair at home with their two children.

The “Good Place” star and the “Parenthood” actor officially wedded nearly four years after they got engaged. They tied the knot in a private ceremony in October 2013.

People recalls in a report that Kristen Bell and Dax Shepard wanted their wedding to have minimal fanfare. It cites the actress’s statement to the magazine, at the time, sharing, “... we get more than enough attention in our everyday lives. I also wear more than enough party dresses.”

The magazine also notes that the two celebrities first met in 2007, adding that the filmmaker quietly proposed to his now-wife in late 2009.

Meanwhile, ET noted elsewhere in its report, published on Wednesday, that Shepard was in attendance to support the “Bad Moms” actress at the premiere.

Bell told the publication that they “came separately,” adding that she “came from hair and makeup,” while her husband “came from the tattoo parlor.”

In other related news, Dax Shepard reportedly revealed in late October that he and his wife did not plan to have another child after welcoming their first nearly a decade ago.

E! News said that the “CHiPs” director shared his thoughts on the matter during an exchange with the “Endless Honeymoon” podcast. As stated, he chatted with the material’s hosts, Natasha Leggero and Moshe Kasher, telling them, “We did not want a second child.”

However, Shepard was said to have stated that he and Kristen Bell had a change of heart because of their eldest child. He shared, “We love her enough to do something we don’t really want to do, which is have a second,” as per the outlet.
