Matt LeBlanc allegedly gained almost 50 pounds following his split from Aurora Mulligan.

In its Oct. 31 issue, Globe claimed that LeBlanc stopped taking care of himself because he was heartbroken following the end of his six-year relationship.

So, the next thing he knew the Friends star already gained 48 pounds and he doesn’t know how to get rid of the unwanted weight.

“He has a massive belly and very small buttocks, putting him at severe genetic risk of diabetes caused by an overworked liver. This will cause his blood sugar levels to soar and put him in the crosshairs of a potentially fatal heart attack or stroke,” the source said.

The source also claimed that LeBlanc’s weight gain caused him to stay away from the limelight because he feels insecure with the way he looks.

But his insecurities are not as serious as all the potential health risks that he could go through if he doesn’t lose weight fast.

“The inflammatory chemicals released from his ample abdominal fat cells not only initiate heart disease – they can turn precancerous cells into pathological predators,” the source said.

To make their claims more convincing, the tabloid published photos of LeBlanc from when he was still with Mulligan. However, he still looks the same while he was dating the producer and even after they split.

So, it’s not true that LeBlanc stopped taking care of himself following the breakup.

It is also important to note that it’s not uncommon for people to gain weight as they get older. Others also tend to lose weight as they age. This all depends on their metabolism and lifestyle.

Therefore, LeBlanc doesn’t have anything to worry about. He has never been overweight his whole life so it’s not alarming if he gained some weight in the past year.

It still seems as though LeBlanc is healthy and well so even his family and friends don’t have anything to worry about.

Meanwhile, the actor also made headlines recently after his Friends co-star, Matthew Perry revealed that everyone in the cast of the 90s sitcom was patient and understanding of his situation.

In his memoir, Perry detailed his struggles with addiction and said that he almost died at the age of 49. Now that he’s much better, he decided to share his story with the world.
