Leonardo DiCaprio and Camila Morrone recently made headlines after news of their alleged split broke. While the two celebrities remain silent, a source shed some light on the reported breakup.

Speaking to E! News, an unnamed insider claimed that the 47-year-old actor and the 25-year-old model have been “traveling a lot.” But, while they were able to spend some quality time despite their busy schedules, it is stated that this led them to “reevaluate” the relationship.

The same source continued that “distance played a factor” in the reportedly split, adding that the romance “ran its course.”

Nevertheless, the “Shutter Island” star and the “Valley Girl” actress could still allegedly “reconcile.” But, it is noted that “at the moment, it is not on” for the two personalities.

News of the alleged breakup surfaced across media platforms on Tuesday. Sources told publications, including People, that Camila Morrone and Leonardo DiCaprio ended their relationship after four years of dating.

No reasons have been given regarding the reported split since the news’ emergence. Also, reps for both camps declined to comment about the matter.

The “Inception” actor and the “Mickey and the Bear” actress kept their romance private over the course of their relationship. They did not address any report about their romantic tie even when they were first linked back in 2018.

Following the split reports, though, witnesses spotted Leonardo DiCaprio hanging out with pals in New York City, according to TMZ. He and his company were said to have gone out for lunch at Il Buco on Tuesday.

The outing marked the first sighting of the “Don’t Look Up” actor in public since the breakup reports made headlines. As stated, he appeared to have kept a “pretty low profile” during the outing, adding that he looked “very slim” in his white tee.

DiCaprio also reportedly donned a face covering and an NBA cap, seemingly hiding his face.

Meanwhile, the split reports seemingly sparked conversations about the celebrity’s dating life.

MailOnline said that the latest breakup with Camila Morrone “seems to reinforce a pattern” that Leonardo DiCaprio has established of never publicly dating anyone over 25.

The outlet, in its recent piece covering the matter, looked back on the “Titanic” star’s dating history. Based on the report, it appears that he never dated a woman above the said from 2000.

Some of the personalities DiCaprio dated reportedly include Giselle Bundchen, Blake Lively, Bar Refaeli, and Nina Agdal.
