Royal experts previously claimed that Kate Middleton has a more “relatable” and “modern” approach to parenting. They even reportedly likened the young Cambridge Royals’ childhood to their mother’s own upbringing.

Express UK recently unearthed the assertions from the 2021 Channel 5 documentary, “Kate: Our Queen In Waiting.” Some royal experts are said to have discussed how the future Queen Consort has brought a “modern touch” to her approach to raising her children.

Speaking on the documentary, Katie Nicholl reportedly deemed the Duchess of Cambridge’s approach “brilliant.” She is noted to have explained that while the royal incorporates some modern characteristics into the dynamic, she still respects “all of the traditions that come with being a future Queen.”

Royal journalist Victoria Murphy also reportedly had similar statements about Kate Middleton. She is said to have noted that the way the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are “bringing up their children actually does emulate much more strongly Kate’s upbringing than William’s upbringing.”

The outlet later shared that the documentary’s narrator David Riley agreed and echoed the statements of the royal experts. As reported, he said that the future Queen Consort “has followed some royal traditions,” but her more “direct role in her children’s upbringing” shows she has “quietly done things her own way.”

The publication quoted the personality, saying, “And this very modern, hands-on approach has endeared her to a generation of parents across the country.”

It continues, “It also sets the tone for the monarchy that she and [Prince William] hope to shape in the future.”

The outlet’s report comes a week after People confirmed that Kate Middleton and Prince William will move to their new home in Windsor without their live-in nanny.

The magazine explained that the property, Adelaide Cottage, which is on Queen Elizabeth II’s Windsor estate, only houses four bedrooms. Accordingly, there is no room for their trusted nanny, Maria Borrallo.

Borrallo has been reportedly part of the Cambridge household since the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge’s eldest child was 8 months old.

But, while the Cambridge Royals were said to move into their new home without their trusted live-in nanny, it was noted that Borrallo will remain as the young royals’ caretaker.

The publication stated that she is expected to live at another property, alongside other staff, including the housekeeper.

Regarding the reported move to Adelaide Cottage, royal expert Ingrid Seward previously told The Sun that Prince William and Kate Middleton “need space to bring up their children.” She claimed that “Kensington Palace is a glorious prison for kids,” adding that “they want to be able to play football without being watched from behind the gates.”

Therefore, the “Majesty” magazine’s editor-in-chief believes that “Windsor will be perfect” for the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge’s three children. She added that “they will have lots of freedom and they can all be at school together.”
