Prince Harry and Meghan Markle will return to the United Kingdom this fall. But, they will reportedly keep a low profile as they do not want “fanfare.”

Express UK said that the claims were from Russel Myers, a royal editor for the Daily Mirror. In discussing the former working royals’ upcoming tour, he touched on the pair’s last visit to the U.K., during which time they joined the rest of the British Royal Family in celebration of the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee.

Speaking to “Australia’s Today” via video link, the royal expert explained that there were worries over the Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s attendance at the historic celebrations in June as they might “overshadow” the monarch’s event.

This led him to assert that the royal-born Prince and the former actress may be “keeping a low profile” when they are on the British Royals’ turf, considering that “they do not tend to do that when they are over in the [United] States.”

Elsewhere in the virtual engagement, Myers also reportedly described the upcoming trip of Meghan Markle and Prince Harry as a “whistlestop tour.” He noted, though, that it will be “very much ‘business-like,’” adding that they “want to have all the focus on the charities.”

The expert later said that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex “do not want to create fanfare” in their return. Accordingly, he suggested that the public would not likely see them getting “back with the Fab Four,” Prince William and Kate Middleton.

The assertions come after a spokesperson for Meghan Markle and Prince Harry confirmed their upcoming trip to Europe this September.

Insider, which obtained confirmation from a rep for the couple, quoted the spokesperson’s statement, writing, “Prince Harry and Meghan, The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are delighted to visit with several charities close to their hearts.”

It was revealed that the former working royals will be in Britain for The One Young World Summit on September 5. The agenda also includes a trip to Dusseldorf, Germany, for an Invictus Games event, which will occur on September 6.

On September 8, the royal-born Prince and his wife will be back in the United Kingdom for the WellChild Awards.

The spokesperson did not include any further details regarding the trip. It is unclear whether Prince Harry and Meghan Markle will meet with members of the British Royal Family, including Queen Elizabeth II.

It is also unknown if the pair will bring their two children with them. But, ITV royal producer Lizzie Robinson suggested that it is “unlikely,” according to a separate report from Express UK.

The outlet quoted the personality, saying, “I do understand they are not bringing the children with them on this occasion.”
